Homecoming Parade see more
We're not only gymnasts, we're all Hilltopper fans. Dozens of gymnasts and parents turned out to ride on the High Flyers's Homecoming Parade September 30th. This year's float was our third annual appearance in the parade. The weather was nice and the crowds enthusiastic. And the team won! Here are some of the photos taken over the past three years. Parents - please send more photos from this year's parade!

The athletes marched in, the national anthem played and about twenty High Flyer gymnasts showed off their skills at our March Fun Meet. Both boys and girls participated and were paired up into four teams, each with a head coach. Each group rotated through the four events in Olympic order. Gymnasts were evaluated on technique and successful, unspotted completion of either Level 1 or 2 routines. Each gymnast received a blue, red or white achievement ribb on on each event and a level medal. Congratulations to all our competitors!

Ninja Gymnastics Challenge see more
The course required climbing, jumping and swinging, but was not too much for our willing competitors at the January Ninja Gymnastics Challenge. Inspired from obstacle-course style reality-tv shows, High Flyers put on its own challenge for young daredevils. Each competitor was required to successfully complete all challenges on the course in the fastest possible time. It was hard to tell whether the competitors or spectators had more fun!

2010 Spring Show see more
Gymnasts and fans packed the White Rock Baptist Church for our 2010 spring show. Equipment was set up in a circular pattern, and kids rotated through each event twice, showing off the skills they learned during High Flyer's first nine months of classes. There were so many gymnasts, the show had to broken into two performances. Proud parents, grandparents and friends enthusiastically applauded as each gymnast received a medal for their efforts.
