Did you Know ---
Gymnastics is one of the world's oldest sports - it has been around for over 2,000 years!
The first perfect score ever awarded in a major competition was to Romania's Nadia Comaneci, who got the perfect score of 10 at the 1976 Olympic games (watch her routine in the YouTube links below).
There are five recognized gymnastics disciplines in the US: women's artistic, men's artistic, rhythmic, tumbling and trampoline and group gymnastics | |
