Girls Program

Girls Program

Designed for school-aged girls ages 6 and up, our recreational classes focus on gymnastics fundamentals presented in a positive, encouraging environment. One hour classes focus on mastery of basic, gymnastics skills and include tumbling, vaulting basics, balance beam and beginning bars. Our goal is to have fun and help each child feel successful through a controlled curriculum of progressive skills development.

Beginners of all ages are welcome. New students are automatically enrolled in Level 1/2 Recreational classes until an evaluation for advancement is made. Emphasis in all classes is on learning proper technique and body shape, gaining strength and flexibility. Students learn new skills as they build on a foundation of safe tumbling and equipment-based progressions. Cost: $65 per month for a one hour class meeting once a week. Two classes a week is $97.50 per month and 3 classes a week is $130 per month.

Begin Here, Go Anywhere – Advancement & Team

Our goal is to make every student feel successful regardless of age or ability. We focus on non-competitive gymnastics and helping each child reach their personal potential.

Our classes are designed to group students of compatible developmental and skill levels so all students have the advantage of peer support and can work on similar skills together. Instructors evaluate students during each class and keep a record of skills achieved and those still needing improvement.

Advancement to either a higher level class or team eligibility is discussed by instructors with parents when the student has mastered all foundational skills in a level and is ready to safely learn more advanced skills. Advancement is not all about ability; we focus on the best placement for each child and family, one that fits their goals and their emotional and physical development, as well as scheduling and social considerations.

So whether you are considering gymnastics as a full-time sport, a supplement to dance or other sports, or simply a fun pastime, High Flyers has a place just right for you.
