Volunteering/Giving
We are a 501(c)(3) Organization
High Flyers Gymnastics is a nonprofit sports organization devoted to providing quality athletic opportunity to the youth of Los Alamos.
High Flyers was founded by a group of dedicated volunteers and remains primarily a volunteer-supported organization. Over half of our coaching and administrative staff are unpaid volunteers. All class fees go directly to our operating expenses (rent, utilities, administrative costs), insurance and program costs (compensation, equipment costs, etc).
For our program to continue and thrive, we need your help! Whether you can offer a few volunteer hours a month or contribute financially, please consider donating your time and money to this worthwhile cause.

- Coaching: Our class schedule is limited only by the size and availability of our coaching staff. If you like working with kids, are patient and willing to learn, consider becoming a coach or assistant. Substitute teachers are also needed. Athletic/gymnastics experience is helpful but not required.
- Administrative Help: If you are good with numbers, greeting people, or a mop, we can use your help. High Flyers has NO full time personnel, so we rely on volunteers for all the tasks necessary to keep our program running. Use your talents and spare time to support the youth of Los Alamos. Ask us how.
- LANL Volunteer Program encourages employees and retirees to get involved by giving of their time, talent, and energy to community efforts. The goal is to match employee interests with our communities' needs and goals by actively recruiting, retaining, recognizing and rewarding volunteer service. Hours can be logged for recognition through VolunteerMatch.
- LANL Employee Program: Los Alamos National Laboratory's employee giving campaign makes it easy to give through automatic payroll deduction. LANL's plan allows you to designate High Flyers and other groups as recipients. Read how to set up contributions. The 2016 giving campaign is currently in full swing. LANL will match all employee campaign contributions up to $1 million. This is a great way to support High Flyers.
- United Way Contribution: Pledge forms for the United Way are available online. Forms allow you to make a one-time or reoccurring donation. Be sure to check Restricted Contribution and designate Los Alamos High Flyers Gymnastics in the organization field. High Flyers receives designated contributions from United Way on a quarterly basis.
- Direct Contributions: You can also donate directly to High Flyers. Funds can be earmarked for specific purposes, such as tuition assistance or new equipment purchases. Your donation is tax deductible. Contact the director to learn more.
